ChildFund in Laos’s Ready for Life Phase II, (R4L Phase II). The project team has completed monitoring, coaching and support the local CSO partner from the Association for Promote Good Life to Children and Youth (APREN) in implementing training on the National Guidelines on Child and Youth Life Skills Development in Lao PDR for 80 youth trainers from 10 schools in the project areas of Pak Ou district, Xieng Nguen district, Chomphet district, and Luang Prabang district. The meeting was held at the Education and Sports Department in Luang Prabang province.

The main objective of the training seeks to broaden and deepen youth trainers’ understanding of the National Guideline on Child and Youth Life Skills Development in Lao PDR. Following this TOT, to build capacity for youth trainers to be facilitators for delivering peer education activities to their friends in their school and community,
