ChildFund in Laos’ s Ready for Life project collaborated with the National Commission for the Advancement of Women, Mothers and Children (NCAWMC) to organised a training of trainers on the National Guidelines on Child Protection in Secondary Schools in Boun Neua, Phongsaly District and Phongsaly Province.
In this training, participants not only learnt about the child protection goals from relevant ministries and sectors, including NCAWMC and the Under-Secretary of Phongsaly Province, but they also had the chance to listen to the district-level authorities in Phongsaly and Phoufar Districts.
In addition, teachers and children from Boun Neua High school and Phoufar High School participated by sharing their opinions and showing their visions and capacities to find solutions to child protection issues at school.
