Recently, ChildFund in Laos collaboration with the Commission of Women, Mothers and Children of Xiengkhoung Province, organised the Training of Trainers for 60 trainers from 20 target schools of the Child Life Skills Empowerment Project.
The purpose is to provide participants with an understanding and be able to facilitate activities on life skills for children within their school responsibilities, including life skills, problem analysis, violence against children, online safety, SAFE STEPS Kids for surviving a disaster, basic first aid, road safety, preventing the spread of COVID-19, etc.
The activity includes content presentation, discussion, and teaching practice by presenting pictures and a fictional role. This child-centered training aims to listen to children’s opinions through fun activities. The Child Life Skills Empowerment Project is supported by Prudence Foundation.
