To empower children to express themselves freely and make better decisions that benefit themselves and others. This will help them to create a better society for themselves in the future. So, ChildFund in Laos collaborated with the Commission for the Advancement of Women, Mothers and Children of Xiengkhoung Province organised the School Children’s Forum in primary school level in Khoun District, Xiengkhoung Province.

The purpose of organising this event was to provide a platform for discussion and expressing opinions among children in the community regarding any problem that happens, interrupts and affects their child rights.

Children utilised problem analysis tools and presented the problem solution to have their voices heard. The School Children’s Forum was attended by over 646 people and supported by the Prudence Foundation.
