Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Agreement and presented a plan for the implementation of the activities of the “Child Protection Network and Strengthening Child and Youth Participation that will be implemented soon in Xayyaboury Province.
On the 2nd of February 2023, ChildFund in Laos cooperated with the Department of Education and Sports Services in Xayyaboury Province, for opening the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Agreement and presented a plan for the implementation of the activities of the “Child Protection Network and Strengthening Child and Youth Participation that will be implemented soon in Xayyaboury Province.
The project activity objective is to increase knowledge, national and sub-national systems and processes are strengthened to support child and youth participation and child protection mechanisms and understanding, particularly in secondary schools in 10 schools of two districts in Xayyabouly Province.
In order to train master trainers from local to provincial levels on the National Guideline on child development and life skills for child and youth in Lao PDR and the National Guideline on Job Readiness for Child and Youth, which will be conduct through peer-to-peer activities within target schools in Xayyaboury Province. And the project is funded by the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP)
