Recently, Scaling-up Access to Basic Education in Lao PDR (SABEL) phase II under collaborated with the Provincial Education Service and Sport (PESS) and District Education and Sports Bureau (DESB), organized training on “Promoting Lao language learning and effective teaching” in Huameuang District, Huaphanh Province, Lao PDR. The event was participated by Savannakhet, Dongkhamxeng, and Khungkhai Colleges.

The purpose of the TOT aims to enhance the teachers to transfer knowledge to the students both girls and boys, who experience disadvantages to complete improved quality basic education. SABEL project generates direct benefit to approximately 8.824 primary school-aged children in 62 target villages. While about 20.720 indirect beneficiaries are families and communities.
