International Youth Day 2022
The youth contribution and promotion of reproductive health work is critical to the development of the youth in the present. So, on August 12-14, 2022, ChildFund in Laos Youth Volunteers and representatives from other civil society organizations met during the International Youth Day 2022 to share lessons learned, thoughts, experiences, and understanding about youth participation and access to reproductive health information, encountering various difficulties and procedures for properly resolving these issues on their own.
In addition to the discussion on stage, all of the volunteers learned how to plan real work as a team, voice their ideas, make decisions, and participate in various activities to develop and prepare children and youth to be leaders in the future.
Throughout the celebration of International Youth Day, ChildFund Youth Volunteers led all activities at its booth under the supervision of the Child and Youth Participation for Resilience in Laos Project (Ready for Life), which is funded by the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP).
