In order to create an environment for children to access comprehensive health services, raise awareness about environmental preservation, and to ensure that every child’s voice is heard and free to express their opinions, the Houaphanh Provincial and Xamneua District Nutrition Management Committee organized the International Children’s Day Celebration at the Cultural Hall in Houaphanh Province.

The Integrated Nutrition for Growth (IN4G) Project of ChildFund in Laos, which is funded by the Australian government through the Australian Non-Governmental International Organization Cooperation Program (ANCP), is proud to be a part of this event and delighted to see more than 300 students are interested and participating in this event.

Specifically, students have been encouraged to check their health services, receive cancer vaccinations for girls, receive anticonvulsant medicine for the child, receive vitamin A, track the child’s growth, and receive COVID-19 vaccinations. In addition, students are encouraged to participate in hygiene and environmental awareness activities.
