Gender and Language Education for Ethnic Students’ Empowerment (GLEESE) Project together with its government partners organized a Training of Trainers on Lao language and Lao literacy (Creative Writing) in Viengxay District, Huaphanh Province.
The purpose of this training is to improve teachers’ teaching abilities to teach Lao language to ethnic students who do not speak Lao. All teachers who attended the program acquired new ways for motivating students to write creative stories and boosting students’ Lao language understanding through the activities.
