Last week, children representative from Lao PDR joined the 6th ASEAN CHILDREN’s FORUM (6th ACF) through online platform on the impact of COVID-19 and the Current Situation on Children. This was supported by Child Participation for Resilience Project (CPR) of ChildFund in Laos, the National Commission for the Advancement of Women, Mothers-Children (NCWMC) and the Commission for the Advancement of Women and Mothers-Children of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPT).

he purpose of this forum was to provide a safe and inclusive virtual space for children and youth to share their experiences with each other from ASEAN member countries. It was a learning and participatory event with discussions on impact of COVID-19 among children and youth.

The 6th ASEAN Children’s Forum was held at MPT’s meeting room on 13 October 2020.
