ChildFund Laos has trained partners from various offices in Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) on Nutrition at the ICT Center in Phunla Secondary School, Xamneua District, Huaphanh Province.

The Integrated Nutrition for Growth (IN4G) Project of ChildFund in Laos, in collaboration with the Huaphanh Health Department and the Xamneua District Health Office, has trained partners from various offices in Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) on Nutrition at the ICT Center in Phunla Secondary School, Xamneua District, Huaphanh Province.

The purpose of this training is to shape the capacity building for the partners to be able to increase access to high-quality health care for maternal and children, improve gender standards to reduce the workload of women, and encourage women in taking care of themselves and their families. The results of the assessment of understanding before the training were 49% and after the training 78%. It is clear that there was a significant improvement in the level of understanding after the training.

The IN4G project is being implemented in 10 target villages in Xamneua District, Huaphanh Province by ChildFund in Laos. The project is funded by the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP).
