ChildFund in Laos’s Better Outcomes for Inclusive Learning (BOIL) Project, aims to ensure boys, girls and included disabilities persons have equal access to quality inclusive learning and to build other facilities in 15 secondary schools of project target area in Sopbao District, Houaphanh province as below:
1️⃣ Providing training to teachers on inclusive learning and planning to help 1,192 students individually in 15 schools of project target schools, as well as the Sopbao District Education and Sports Bureau staff, village volunteers, and the village education development committee of around 432 people.
2️⃣ Building and renovating facilities in 15 schools, such as: schools, toilets, ramps to facilitate access for persons with disability and wash stations’ build and renovated, as well as provided hygiene products of toothpaste, toothpaste and soap and others to the students.
3️⃣ Provide equipment for persons with disabilities which include wheelchairs, four-legged rods, twin crutches, and build five libraries to benefit 502 students and to reduce discrimination in the community by promoting inclusive learning activity for all.
This project is funded by the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP).
