ChildFund in Laos, together with its government partners and ChildFund Korea, organized the Biannual IMC Meeting on the Mid-Year Implementation Summary Report and Action Plans for July-December 2022 regarding the GLEESE Project which is currently taking place in the Xamnuea and Sopbao Districts. The meeting was held in July 2022 in the Sopbao District of Huaphanh Province.
The purpose of the meeting is to report on the key achievements of the project activities implementation for GLEESE in the 15 target villages in Sopbao District and 15 target villages in Xamneua District regarding the increasing girls’ and boys’ capacity to make educational decisions through gender equality training, as well as improving students’ Lao language learning results through teacher capacity building.
The GLEESE Project of ChildFund in Laos is funded by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and ChildFund Korea as a Civil Society Cooperation Program to provide equal and equitable access to quality education to all students in 15 target villages in Sopbao District and 15 target villages in Xamneua District, Huaphanh Province.
