ChildFund in Laos handed over essential COVID-19 supplies to the Provincial Education and Sports, Huaphanh Province
The COVID-19 pandemic is the worst health crisis of our generation. Some people try to adapt to working online, homeschooling their children and others have to work on the ground to keep society functioning.
In responding to the Covid-19 situation in our project areas, on 24 December 2021, ChildFund in Laos handed over essential COVID-19 supplies to the Provincial Education and Sports, Huaphanh Province. The supplies include soaps, masks, face shields, and gel hand sanitizer worth a total value of 641.770.000 LAK for distributing to 30 target villages of the Gender and Language Education for Ethic Student’s Empowerment (GLEESE) Project, in Xamnuea and Sopbao District of Huaphanh Province.
