Many states in the region are experiencing infection surges and continue to fight against the Covid-19 outbreak. To respond to the Covid-19 situation in our project areas, ChildFund in Laos handed over essential COVID-19 supplies to Sopbao District Education and Sports Department, District Office, Lao Women Union, District Health Office, District Government office and District Lao Youth Union Office of Huaphanh Province.
The supplies included soaps, masks, face shields, Covid Response Poster, speakers, and gel hand sanitizers worth a total value of 276,011,765 LAK. The supplies were distributed to the target villages of CFL’s Gender and Language Education for Ethic Student’s Empowerment (GLEESE) Project, funded by KOICA through ChildFund Korea.
