A library is a place where children have access to information

A library is a place where children have access to information, a gathering place for students and teachers, and a collaborative center for literacy and education-related activities that help children get to know each other and build their bright future.
So, the Gender and Language Education for Ethnic Students’ Empowerment GLEESE of ChildFund in Laos which is funded by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and ChildFund Korea, organized a training on library management and maintenance for teachers and Village Education Development Committee (VEDC) members at Khong and Pa Vanh secondary schools in Xamneua District, and at Huay Toung and Pa Hang secondary schools in Sopbao District, Houaphan Province, to ensure that they are well understood how to maintain the library a clean and safe place for children.
