Childfund in Laos’ Ready for Life project collaborated with the National Commission for the Advancement of Women, Mothers-Children (NCAWMC) to organise a training of trainers on the National Guidelines on Child Protection in Secondary Schools in Khoun District, Xieng Khouang Province.

In this training, participants not only learnt about the child protection goals from relevant ministries and sectors, including NCAWMC and the Under-Secretary of Xiengkhuang Province, but they also had the chance to listen to district-level authorities in Khoun District. In addition, teachers and children from Chomphet and Longsan Secondary Schools participated by sharing their opinions and showing their visions and capacities to find solutions to child protection issues at school.
