ChildFund in Laos is pleased to welcome donor representatives from ChildFund Korea, who visited the Gender and Language Education for Ethnic Student’s Empowerment (GLEESE) project target areas to observe Gender Training, Lao Language classroom learning, library construction and handed over school materials for the children in Sopbao and Xamneau Districts, Huaphanh Province.

Ms. Minyoung Oh, Country Program Manager, Global Programs, ChildFund Korea, and Mr. JungJin Park, Project Compliance Advisor, ChildFund Korea, engaged with community members, teachers, village authorities, and government representatives to discuss their experiences, plans forward, and most importantly, learn more about the situation and culture of the communities.

ChildFund in Laos’ GLEESE Project is Funded by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and ChildFund Korea to empower all students in 15 target villages in Sopbao District and 15 target villages in Xamneua District with equal and equitable access to quality education.
